Orders
Cakes are ordered two days ahead and collected from the shop. Everything else is bought from the case, while it lasts.

A cake to order, in three steps
1
Call two days ahead
Tell us how many people it is for, and whether anyone cannot eat something.
2
We choose it together
Sponge, cream, decoration. If you have a photo we work from it, and we say straight away when we cannot.
3
Collected from the shop
Half on ordering, the rest on collection. We do not send cakes by courier.

Questions that come up
- How far ahead should I order a cake?
- Two days is enough. If it is for more than twenty people, or you want a particular decoration, make it three.
- Can you copy a cake from a photo?
- Usually we can. If we can see it will not come out like the photo, we say so at the start rather than spoil your day.
- Do you have sugar-free or gluten-free?
- Two sugar-free kinds every day. Gluten-free only to order, because we do not have a separate kitchen and we would rather say so.
- Do you deliver?
- Cakes are collected from the shop so they arrive in one piece. We will help you call a courier if you like, but then it travels at your own risk.
- What happens to what is left in the evening?
- From six we sell it at half price. Whatever is still here we take to the neighbourhood soup kitchen the next morning.
- Can I pay by card?
- Card, cash or transfer. For cakes to order we ask for half when you place the order.
